Personal Empowerment

Self-esteem is made up of the thoughts, feelings, and opinions we have about ourselves. That means self-esteem isn’t fixed. It can change, depending on the way we think.

Steve Bavolek writes in his book, The Nurturing Family: “Personal power is not how physically strong we feel, but the use of our knowledge, thoughts and feelings to act in a manner to get our own needs met in a positive way. A person’s self-esteem and self-concept are directly related to whether one gets their needs met in a positive way or negative way.”

The amount of influence we have on others is directly determined by how much confidence we have in ourselves. If we believe in ourselves, our talents, abilities, what we can achieve and be – then we will exude that vibe out to others. This aura of empowerment and self-confidence will for sure benefit you in all areas of life – be it personal or professional. Having good self-esteem and personal power allows us to be successful group leaders in the workplace as well as positive contributors to our home, family, and community at large.

At Hissah Enrichment Center, we believe in the importance of a strong sense of self. We have catered a program which provides practical strategies, techniques and support in developing self-esteem, focusing on our positive traits, and cultivating a strong belief in your own abilities that leads towards empowerment. We help to elevate your quality of life by pinpointing your fears and working on removing them. We help to develop personal expression, strengthen self-image and build meaningful, respectful relationships in personal and professional contexts.
